I knew Mark for about 5 years. He was my boss. He was no nonsense when it came to work. He was the tough old man that I could not help but respect. there was just something about him. He was really knowledgeable at what he did. He gave nicknames to almost everybody at work and you never really knew if he liked you or not because sometimes he would call you by your name or sometimes He might say something that started with an M and ended with an R. The job i had to do required me to know a lot of things in a short amount of time. I got a note book and started taking down notes on different pieces of equipment. I had not been doing the job very long and it was time for me to take over a piece of equipment on my own. I relied on my notes i took in my notebook. one day Mark came up and was giving me some advice and telling me more about the equipment. I started writing down what he was telling me in my notebook and he saw me writing and snatched the note book out of my hand and said "listen cook book M++++R F?????, you dont need to write it down, just use your mind and remember it". and he threw my note book in the near by trash can" then he turned around and walked away. when his back was turned i dug the notebook out of that trash, because i really did need it. LOL. Mark liked give everybody a hard time about the Razorback football team. and boy was he ever proud of Kansas. RIP Mark.
