Markita L. Jacobs' Obituary
Markita L. Jacobs, age 63, of Fayetteville passed away Thursday April 13, 2023. She was born March 5, 1960 in Wellington, Kansas to Betty Jo (Rosebaugh) Russell. She followed a few different career paths during her life from hair design in the 1980’s, to retail category analytics and finally medical coding. Her dedication showed as she always put everything she had into her work. She will always be remembered for being fun to be around and that led to many lifelong friendships and fond memories. She enjoyed crafting, rock music and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Jake Jacobs; son, Drew Caldwell of Bella Vista; step daughter, Brandy Jacobs of Tigerton, Wisconsin; step son, Joel Jacobs of Fayetteville; three brothers, Kevin Russell and Chris Russell both of Wellington, Kansas and Kirk Russell of Colorado Springs, Colorado and four grandchildren Tierney, Evan, Evelyn and Everley.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
