Martha Luffman Gregory's Obituary
Martha Luffman Gregory was born October 19, 1937, in Rogers, Arkansas to her parents William “Fred” and Ellen Mackey Luffman.
Martha graduated from Rogers High School in 1955. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Arkansas in 1960.
In 1966, Martha married her husband John R. “Skip” Gregory. They were married almost 50 years until his passing in 2016.
She was a passionate Razorback basketball and baseball fan as well as a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She loved crocheting, reading crime novels, and working on puzzles.
Martha was part of a small group of parents who were instrumental in developing the REACH program for gifted and talented students in Rogers Public Schools.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Junie Luffman; and her husband, John R. “Skip” Gregory, all of Rogers, AR.
She is survived by her brother, James M. Luffman (Sophie) of Green Valley AZ; her son, Larry Gregory (Valere) of Rogers, AR; stepdaughters, Vicki Minton and Sharon Heuring (John) of Oklahoma City, OK; stepson, Ed Gregory (Vickie) of Thomasville, NC; and six grandchildren.
Services will be held at First Christian Church 905 South 13th Street in Rogers February 16, 2026, at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Circle of Life Hospice, Compassion International, or a local animal rescue organization.
The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the nurses and staff at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville for their care and compassion during her final days.
