Martha Lindsay's Obituary
Martha Lindsay, 59, a lifetime resident of Fayetteville, died Sunday night, May 10 in Springdale. She is survived by her daughter Christy Lindsay, son Shawn Lindsay, sisters Mary McCann and Elizabeth Gardenhire, brothers Charles and Fred Tunstill, and a long list of nieces and nephews she adored. She also leaves a plethora of friends and honorary family members. She was born and raised in Fayetteville, where she was active in her community and graduated with a degree in Accountancy from the University of Arkansas. She worked as a CPA for the City of Fayetteville and Ozark Prosthodontics and gave a lot of her time to helping friends, The Church of Kindred Spirit, and her favorite charities. She was known for her love of babies of all types and her devotion to those she held dear. She was also blessed to be surrounded by people who cared and gave of their time to help her when she needed a hand. Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 14 from 6-8pm at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Services will take place at Nelson-Berna on Friday, May 15 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, Martha requested donations to the ALS Association to continue the fight against Lou Gehrig's Disease, to LifeStyles of Fayetteville, or to Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
