Mary Elizabeth (Mary Beth) Caldwell's Obituary
Mary Elizabeth (Mary Beth) Caldwell, age 83, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on November 8, 2025, at Shiloh Nursing and Rehab in Springdale, Arkansas after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born on January 20, 1942, in Wilmington, Delaware, to David C. Gladney and Mary Frances (Gowen) Gladney. Mary Beth earned an MBA at the University of Arkansas, then later became a CPA. She was also an instructor in the UofA accounting department.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Mary Frances Gladney; and brother, George Gladney.
Mary Beth is survived by her husband, Charles Caldwell; daughters, Sara Bouley and husband Joe of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Claire Hobbs and husband Scott of Fayetteville; and six grandchildren. Mary Beth and her husband were one month shy of celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.
