Mary was the devoted wife of the late Clifford “Tootsie” Clevenger, and together they raised three wonderful children who will keep her memory alive: Jeannie Silvis and her husband Jerry of Fayetteville, and Mike Clevenger and his wife Debbie of Farmington. Their son Jerry Lee Clevenger and his wife Jeannine are waiting for her in Heaven. She is also survived by her brother Johnny Gooding and his wife Sue and sister Vera Willis and many niece’s and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Chip Clevenger, her grandson-in-law Garry King, brothers Orville Gooding, Charles “JR” Gooding, Clifford Gooding, and sister Jimmie Tull.
Mary’s laughter and wisdom will remain in the hearts of her cherished grandchildren, Shelly Silvis Bailey, Tina Clevenger King, Amy Clevenger Evans, Charles Silvis, Kyle Clevenger, and Christie Clevenger Dirkach. Her legacy extends through seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, who will always remember their GiGi’s love.
Mary devoted her life to her family, fearlessly loving them unconditionally. She was a beacon of strength, generosity, and a nurturing spirit. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family, baking delicious treats and cooking for big family gatherings, and most definitely the thrill of discovering a new treasure on her QVC shopping sprees.
