Mary A Curry's Obituary
Mary Adell Curry, of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the age of 93. Mary was born May 1, 1931, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Thomas Keryer and Verne Blackmun Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 60 years Ronald Curry, and 2 sons, Garlen Curry and Steve Curry.
Mary was a longtime member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Fayetteville, where she volunteered for many years. She loved gathering her family together for holidays and special occasions. She enjoyed a close bond with her sister Verne, whom she met with daily. Family was everything to Mary, and she will be missed by all who loved her.
Mary is survived by four sons, Brice Curry, Craig Curry (Paula), Kevin Curry, and Ron Curry; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and her sister Verne Kinsey.
A visitation will be held at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville on Monday, September 9, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. Service will be at First United Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville on Tuesday, September 10, at 10:00AM, with burial to follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Presbyterian Church in memory of Mary.
