Biography
Mary E. Wallen, 90, of Farmington, died Monday, August 15, 2011 at Prairie Grove Health & Rehab.
She was born April 6, 1921 in Bristol, South Dakota, the daughter of Walter & Johanna Hustad Olson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Wallen & two brothers.
She was a homemaker and former employee of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She was a former volunteer for Meals on Wheels and a member of Farmington United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Ginger Wallen of Farmington; two sisters Romelle Kellner of Tampa, Florida and Julaine Kusler of Akron, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 19 at Moore’s Chapel and interment will be in Baptist Ford Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday at Moore’s Chapel.
