Mary J. Stansell's Obituary
Mary J. Stansell, 92 of Goshen, AR passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 in Fayetteville. She was born July 28, 1917 in Wharton, AR to Charlie and Mirtie (Phillips) Tucker. She was retired form Campbell Soup and was a member of White Rock Church in Fayetteville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Douglas Stansell, two sons; Glen and Brice Stansell, and one granddaughter; Pamela Nelson.
She is survived by three sons; Vernon Tucker of Springdale, AR, Charlie “Pete” Stansell of Trinity, TX, Raymond Stansell of Rogers, AR, two daughters; Judy Bowlin of Fayetteville, AR, Myrtle “Susie” Mayes of Goshen, AR, fifteen grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren, twenty great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 from 6:00 Pm until 8:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM , Wednesday, February 3, 2010 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverend H.M. Shipp officiating. Burial will follow at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
