Mary and I shared many years of friendship. I am blessed to have so many wonderful memories of times we spent together. We lost her way too soon. Her presence in this world will be deeply missed by her family, friends and anyone who knew her. May she rest in peace and be waiting to greet us in heaven.

Mary Kay always had a warm loving smile on her face whenever I saw her. She was always at our extended family events spreading joy and love. I am going to miss that beautiful lady! Mary and I shared 11 years working side by side at school libraries and forming a dear friendship that extended to garden tours to Scotland and England, walks on nearby trails, dinners with our husbands, shopping where we often bought similar clothes, attending programs at the public library and sharing books we enjoyed. Most of all, Mary was a friend who knew how to comfort her friends in sorrow and celebrate with them in joy. I will miss her.

Mary was a long time member of the Books and Brunch bookclub. She was a huge supporter of the bookclub; hosting often and bringing new members into the club. She, no doubt, brought in more new members than any of us. She will be greatly missed by all for her kindness and thoughtfulness.
Mary Charlton
Mary was my favorite aunt, married to my uncle Andy. She's been a part of my life from my teenage years, always ready with a smile, a shoulder to cry on, a joy to share. I have many memories of Mary but one of my favorite is sharing Thanksgiving with the family while I was in college at UW-Madison and they were in Urbana-Champaign.
I've been fortunate that Mary and Andy have been so geographically close that I could visit, share birthdays and books, and build memories.
Mary will be missed. Her smile and laughter lives.
