Mary Lynn Montgomery's Obituary
Mary Lynn Montgomery, age 67, of Rogers passed away Sunday January 14, 2024, in Rogers. She was born April 10, 1956, in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of George Richard Buckingham and Patricia Halpin Graves. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Mark Buckingham and a niece Cara McCollum.
Mary Lynn enjoyed gardening, music, needlework and was an avid reader. She graduated from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro with a Bachelor of Science. She was a speech pathologist at Sunshine School and Development Center as well as a case manager at Havenwood in Bentonville.
She is survived by her two children Kory Montgomery of Denver, Colorado and Katie Montgomery of Bentonville, Arkansas; her three siblings brother Steven Buckingham and his wife Beverly of Hot Springs, Arkansas, sisters Maureen McCollum and her husband Rick of Forrest City, Arkansas and Paula Buckingham Waymire of Bentonville, Arkansas; five nephews Aaron Meredith, Mark Meredith, Sean Waymire and Patric Waymire and Derick McCollum; her beloved friend Nan Montgomery Signorelli and her precious dog LG, Little Guy.
A private family service will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cara McCollum Birthday Book Project, P.O. Box 411 Forrest City, Arkansas 72336.
