Mary Diana Marlow's Obituary
Diana Marlow, age 64, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday July 30, 2023. She was born May 8, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to Donovan and Carol Hinton. She was preceded in death by her parents and her only brother, Donovan Dale Hinton Jr.
Diana spent parts of her childhood in Mesquite, TX and Albuquerque, NM, before settling in North Little Rock, AR where she met many lifelong friends and her future husband. Over the years, she spent time working in retail, cooking, and sewing, but she spent most of her time as a homemaker, keeping an always beautiful home and raising their daughter. She moved to Fayetteville in 2021.
She was a talented quilter and seamstress, and she had a flare for finding unique pieces that she used to create stunning jewelry. She enjoyed cycling, singing, gardening, nature, cooking, genealogy and most of all dancing. Ballroom dancing brought her immense joy and brought her already close family even closer.
Above all else, Diana had a special gift for caring for others. She was always considering others, was a special caregiver to much of her family, and even in her final moments, was thinking of how to best care for her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Michael Marlow; daughter, Rachel Moss and her husband Patrick of Fayetteville.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. There will be a memorial service planned for a later time.
