Mary Edna Oaks' Obituary
Mary Edna Oaks, age 91, passed away peacefully June 29, 2026, in Rogers.
Mary was born February 16, 1935, in Decatur, Arkansas. She was the 9th child born to Benjamin Harrison Potts and Elsie Pearl (Cates) Potts.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, James Alex Oaks; and her grandson, James Alan Crouse.
She is survived by four children, daughter, Regina Crouse and husband, Dennis; son, James E. Oaks and wife, Faye, son, Terry Oaks and wife, Rachel, and daughter, Shirley Anderson; 8 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Mary enjoyed crocheting, especially when crocheting baby booties or blankets to welcome a new grandchild, cake decorating and growing African violets.
A Celebration Graveside Memorial will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 10am at Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, Arkansas.
