Mattie L. Johnson's Obituary
Mattie L. Johnson, 93 of Cassville, MO formerly of Springdale , AR passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 in Cassville. She was born November 30, 1919 in East Bernard, TX to John D. Roe and Fannie (Smith) Roe.
She was retired for Allen Canning Company and was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Springdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband of forty years and father to her three children; Gerald Ray “Jerry” Luna Sr, her second husband John T. “Big John” Johnson, three brothers; Jim Ford Roe, Jay Dee Roe, John Henry Roe, one sister; Nannie Bell Roe Duncan, son-in-law; Charles Radford, and her granddaughter; Ginger Radford Harrington.
She is survived by two sons; Roger M. Luna and wife Leslie of Cassville, MO, Jerry Luna and wife Terry of Lincoln, AR, one daughter; Gayle Radford of Lincoln, AR, ten grandchildren, thirty six great grandchildren, and fourteen great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 24th from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, March 25th at Temple Baptist Church in Springdale with Reverend Don Elmore officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale.
