Max Traphagan, age 90, of Fayetteville, passed from this life August 6, 2020. He was born May 14, 1930 in Ottawa, Kansas to Horace and Ruby Day Traphagan. Max was a veteran of the United States Navy and attended South Hill Church Read Obituary
Max was a good man and and a good friend and helped train me as a pole jockey (Lineman) for Trans Video Corp. back in 1957. I joined the USN in 1959 because of his great Navy stories; some true and some fiction! Ha After my 4 years in the USN, my wife Jeen and I became backyard neighbors to Max, Sula, Joe Max, Kip, Ky, and Malia and what a wonderful family they are!

Just want Aunt Sula and the rest of the Traphagan Clan to know that Uncle Max will be missed by all of us. I enjoyed every minute I was around him and am glad we had a good visit last year when we were on our trip to Arkansas. Our prayers are with you all.

Uncle Max always made me smile. His magical coin tricks and quick wit, and the twinkle in his eye we’re so fun! The love you shared with my aunt Sula good night have been more obvious.
