When my husband and I moved to Fayetteville 35 years ago, Maxine and Clyde were our wonderful next door neighbors always ready with an enthusiastic smile and word of welcome. Over the years we shared a love for God's word and for music. They found a very special piano for us, and Maxine inscribed a lovely note and hid it in the bench of that piano. We still have both the piano and the note. I know Maxine is rejoicing with the Lord today.

I just wanted to send a note to tell you that I am sure sorry to hear about Maxine.
Me and her was very close and she was a special friend to me and I knew Clyde also and visited with them some in there home.
She is in such a better place.
We will miss her!!!!

I met Ms. Maxine at J.R.'s Salon when Margie would do her hair. She was my absolute favorite part of every Saturday! She was always the sweetest most loving person and had a very genuine and kind heart. I'm so very sorry to hear of her passing and pray that God be with your family during this time. We can all smile knowing that she is with our Father in Heaven, looking down on us with a smile.

Met Clyde and Maxine several years ago while helping to care for Stella. And visited with during Clyde's illness and during Maxine's illness. What a wonderful lady, Maxine. I enjoyed our long telephone talks. Maxine would bighten any room she entered, I would call to cheer Maxine and I would end up being the one who was cheered RIP Maxine you will be missed here on earth, but I bet the heavenly light is a lot brighter now that you're there
