Melanie Ann Golleher's Obituary
Melanie Ann Golleher, age 46, of Rogers passed away Monday December 19, 2022, in Rogers. She was born May 30, 1976, in Fayetteville the daughter of Chester Wages and Paula Cawthorn. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Melanie was a valued faculty member at Bentonville High School for 7 years. She was a passionate educator and found great joy teaching history, especially European monarchies. She was fortunate enough to have attended Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee this summer with her family. She also loved her role as Key Club Sponsor and was very proud of her student volunteers and leaders.
Melanie loved her family deeply. One of her favorite things was taking trips with her husband and children to Disney, the beach or a Razorback game. She was a ardent supporter of Razorback Baseball.
She is survived by her husband Nicholas and their two children Catherine and Alexander Golleher of Rogers; her father Chester Wages of Springdale; a brother Chris Wages of Cave Springs, Arkansas and two aunts Lavonne Vaughn and Norma Wages both of Springdale.
Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday December 27, 2022, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Rogers with Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Bentonville Cemetery under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Rogers.
In lieu of flowers a college fund has been set up at for Catherine and Alexander at any Signature Bank.
