Melva Jo Long, 53 of Winslow, AR passed away Sunday, October 25, 2009 near West Fork, AR. She was born February 1, 1956 in Dallas, TX to Melvin Franklin Romine and Jean (Cousins) Romine. She attended Life Harvester Church in Fayetteville.
She is survived by her husband Vaughn Long, her father Melvin Romine of Golden, TX, mother Jean Murr of Scurry, TX, two sons; Jonathan Long of Winslow, AR, Randy Fondren of Andrews, TX two daughters; Kimberly Long and Rebecca Long of Winslow, AR, three brothers; Al Romine of Celebration, FL, Richard Murr of Senora, AR, Harold Keller of Farmington, AR, two sisters; Lynette Austin of Bentonville, AR, Tara Keller of Farmington, AR.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, AR.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Life Harvester Church 682 South Government Ave in Fayetteville with Dr. Dexter Howard officiating.
