Melvin "Wes" Cook's Obituary
Melvin “Wes” Cook, age 84, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas passed away Friday April 24, 2026. He was born on January 25, 1942 in Dallas, Texas to Melvin Lee Cook and Ruby (Hurley) Cook. Wes served in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Cook; one daughter, Kerrie Guinn of Portland, Oregon; four sons, Scott Cook of Fayetteville, Jeff Cook of Brooklyn, New York, Mike Reynolds and his wife Corie of Fayetteville and James Reynolds and his wife Erika of Florida; one sister, Shirley Allen and her husband Bruce of Dayton, Nevada; seven grandchildren, Patrick Logan Cook, Connor Ryan Cook, Kelsey Guinn, Gavin Reynolds, Emily Reynolds, Dylan Reynolds and Andrew Reynolds.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Interment will be 1:30 PM Monday May 11, 2026 in the Fayetteville National Cemetery with military honors.
