My condolences to the family. I remember me, Merle, and Richard would go out on tree jobs. Merle was one of hardest workers I ever worked with. He was always full of energy and always positive. He taught me no matter what is going on in your life you can still be positive. It's all a matter of perspective. I will miss you my friend, and I am a better person because I knew you.Todd Taylor
My sympathies to the family. My husband and I bowled league with Merle. He was kind and always willing to share a story or two. I remember one time, after the high school finished practice, he came over to show his bowling ball that he has had since the 70's. The kids couldn't believe it.
