I just received this sad news...My heart goes out to all of his family. I was so appreciative of my friendship with Mike, his photography and quirky/wonderful personality...He will be sorely missed & fondly remembered. Much LOVE to all who loved him. Gratefully, I was in that 'circle'. Leilani
I am so sorry to read this news. I had the pleasure of playing softball with Mike for several years in the late 70's, early 80's.
What the old "Coors Light 10" may have lacked in talent, it made up for in good times and Mike was a central figure in those good times.

So sad to hear the news of Michael Peven. He was one of my Fayetteville friends in the early years. The photos of him in his cowboy hat with the three toothpicks bring it all back.
