Michael Cline Hickman's Obituary
Michael Cline Hickman, born on November 8, 1946, in Stafford, Kansas, gently passed away on April 19th, 2025, at 78 to be with Our Lord Jesus Christ. He was the son of the late Cline and Marilyn (Choate) Hickman.
A dedicated patriot, Michael served as a radio operator in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, contributing his skills and commitment to his country. His love for sports cars led him to become a proud member of the Mercedes-Benz Car Club, where he forged connections with fellow enthusiasts who shared his passion.
Michael and Beth were youth leaders at Round Rock Presbyterian Church in Texas before moving to Arkansas, where Michael then served as a deacon and later as an elder at First Christian Church in Bentonville. His commitment to his spiritual journey was evident in the kindness and compassion he extended to those around him.
Michael had a zest for life and a love for exploration. His wanderlust took him to various destinations, with Hilton Head holding a special place in his heart. Whether it was through his travels or his involvement in community and church activities, he touched the lives of many with his warmth, generosity, and humor.
Above all, Michael's greatest joy came from his family. He celebrated 42 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Beth, creating a lifetime of shared memories and love.
Michael is survived by his son Taylor and his granddaughter Elliot; brothers Keith and Gary Hickman; along with a host of extended family and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. A celebration of life will be held at Nelson–Berna Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas, on April 27 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. You are welcome to drop in and spend time with his family. A private family service will take place in Hilton Head at a later date.
