Michael Marvin Murders' Obituary
Michael Marvin Murders, age 71, of Fayetteville, AR, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024. He was born August 19, 1953, in Hot Springs, AR. His parents, Marvin Murders, Bonnie Bonita Meek Powers and stepfather Edward David Powers Sr. preceded him in death.
Mike was a loving father and husband for his wife Diana Murders and daughter Amanda Murders. Mike is also survived by his brother and sister, Edward David Powers Jr (Debbie) and Phyllis Lynn Powers Rogers (Johnny). He is also survived by numerous cousins and a large extended family.
Mike was a kind soul, willing to provide help wherever needed. Mike enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mike graduated from the University of Arkansas and was an avid Razorback fan and longtime season ticket holder. He had many adventures traveling to Razorback away games. Mike worked for AT&T for 33 years as Area Manager Operator Services retiring in 2008. In retirement Mike enjoyed playing Golf with his best friends at Bella Vista and often playing in the weekly scramble events at the Creeks in Cave Springs.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 30, at Nelson Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the PAN Foundation, at panfoundation.org or mail to P.O. Box 411439, Boston, MA 02241-1439 and designate for Myasthenia Gravis or a charity of your choice.
