Michael Rivers' Obituary
Michael Allen Rivers, age 40, of Fayetteville passed away Friday April 30, 2021in Fayetteville. He was born March 2, 1981 in Norman, Oklahoma to Bill and Carolyn Neff Rivers. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Rivers, his paternal grandparents, John and Iris Rivers and maternal grandfather, Max Neff, and one Uncle Paul Neff.
Michael is survived by his parents, Bill and Carolyn Rivers of Fayetteville; one sister, Jennifer Bliss and her husband Billy of Seguin, Texas; Grandmother Colleen Neff in Oklahoma; Uncles Joe Neff and his wife Catherine in Arizona; Jeffrey Neff and his wife Kathy in Oklahoma City and Jon Neff. Aunts Lynne Neff and Donna Bolen and her husband Paul in South Carolina and multiple nieces and nephews.
Michael enjoyed cooking and gardening. He was a house painter by trade and enjoyed little projects for friends and family. He enjoyed going for walks with his dog, Misha.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. Graveside service will be 11:00 am Saturday May 8, 2021 at Sunny lane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
