I read of Mike's passing in the newspaper. And when I checked the information, I realized that Mike and I had been best friends, and went to the same church in Tulsa back in the early 70's. I wish I had known that Mike had lived in Elm Springs, as I live in Bentonville. We started college together at Tulsa Jr. College in 1970, and we would stay at each other's houses quite often. It would have been nice to connect again. I just had no idea he was so near. I read of his passing with real sadness, as I remember Mike to be a terrific friend. I hope that those who knew and loved him will have only the happiest of memories of being with him. I will hold my memories dearly, as there are many. Should anyone in the family wish to contact me, Ihope that they will, as I would love to learn more of what Mike did after we went down our separate paths of life.
Dee and Family,
Mike was a special person in more ways than you will ever know. He will be greatly missed by all of us. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say. Even when he wasn't in town to work on our equipment, he always made sure he checked on us. It was always great to see him and he always made time to sit and chat a while. Just know that you guys are in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.
Mike, you will be missed so much.
Although Mike & I have not crossed paths in several years, I remember fondly how helpful and generous he was in helping me with my business. I always enjoyed hearing his stories of his travels and great times with his family. I hope these memories can provide you comfort in this difficult time. MIke, you will be missed.
Mike you were a true friend, we will miss you. I've never met such a kinder courteous and gentler soul. The last twelve years of my life that were blessed with your friendship will forever be cherished with the memories, although the many meetings we had were short and filled with work oriented projects they were important and full of personal conversations that will stay in my mind for the rest of my days. I love you Mike and I hope you can rest in peace my friend. See you on course in heaven one day. Rob
Dee, know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Mike was a special guy and we will all long cherish our memories.
Dee,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.
