Mildred Carolyn Allen's Obituary
Mildred McCrary Allen, 83 of Springdale died Saturday, May 25, 2013 at The Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born March 10, 1930 in Semmes, Alabama, the daughter of Lawrence McCrary and Evelyn Schwarzauer.
She was employed as a Real Estate Agent in Tulsa, OK for over 30 years and was very active in the Tulsa Opera Guild and Puccini Society. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Tulsa and attended First Presbyterian Church in Springdale.
Survivors include her son Lamar Allen and his family, wife Jennifer and daughters Hartley Ann and Ceciley Mae of Johnson, AR. Son Stanton Allen of Tulsa, OK, 2 brothers Eugene McCrary of Dadeville, AL and Marvin McCrary of Charlotte, NC and her sister, Helen Wells of Mobile, AL, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Lamar Allen.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 31, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church in Springdale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Youth & Children program at First Presbyterian Church.
