Mildred P. Mahon's Obituary
Mildred Pittman Mahon, 94 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 in Fayetteville. She was born March 15, 1917 in Republic, MO to Robert Pittman and Lylan (Evans) Pittman. In 2001, Mildred moved to Northwest Arkansas from Oklahoma City, OK where she was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She is a current member of First United Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville.
She was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, Bruce F. Mahon, Jr. in 1981.
She is survived by two sons; Dr. William T. Mahon of Rogers, AR, Bruce F. Mahon III of Elgin, IL, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Private interment will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Butterfield Trail Village Foundation.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home & Crematory of Fayetteville.
