Minnie “Lorene” Walker, 78, of Huntsville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, December 02, 2008 in Springdale. She was born May 9, 1930 in the Chaplain Community in Madison County, Arkansas. The daughter of Fred L. and Nora Arizona (Scates) Doss. She was a nurse and a caregiver for many years and a member of the Harmony Regular Baptist Church. She preceded in death by her husband Floyd T. Walker, three sisters; Bonnie Reynolds, Daisy Worley, Jessie Willhite. She is survived by; one daughter; Earlene Parks and husband John of Springdale, Arkansas, two brothers; George Doss of Berryville, Arkansas, C.H. Doss of Springdale, Arkansas, five sisters; Lola Thompson of Huntsville, Arkansas, Dailey Harp of Berryville, Arkansas Fredlene Ray of Green Forest, Arkansas, Carolyn Burney of Berryville, Arkansas, Ina Worley of Berryville, Arkansas, two grandchildren; Casey Parks, Kelli Clemons of Fayetteville, Arkansas and one great granddaughter; Caroline Rose Clemons of Fayetteville. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Friday, December 5, 2008 in the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, with Rev. Johnny Sisemore and Mr. C.H. Doss officiating. Burial will follow in the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
