Molly Frances Henry's Obituary
Molly Frances Henry, age 87, of Bentonville passed away Sunday March 23, 2025, in Springdale. She was born July 11, 1937, in Idabel, Oklahoma, the daughter of Jessie Ben and Ola Fae Garrison Mayer. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Thomas Henry and a sister Ruth Leathers.
She worked as a Registered Nurse for St. Francis Hospital in Rogers for many years as well as Benton County Courthouse. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bentonville and was involved with the DORCAS Group, Koinonia’s Group and UMW. Molly was very involved in her community throughout her life helping both the Boys and Girls Scouts, AFS Student Exchange Program, Habitat for Humanity, Benton County Women’s Shelter, Meals on Wheels and was a vital part of starting the NWASSI (Legacy Village) in Bentonville.
She is survived by her two children James David Henry of Bentonville, Arkansas and Linda Henry Engdahl (Stefan) of Sweden; granddaughter Edelaine Engdahl-Taylor and wife Carmen Engdahl-Taylor with great-grandchildren Madison, Maddix, and Mayer, grandson Jonathan Engdahl and life-partner Aliona Ursul, grandson Robin Engdahl and mother of his children Sofie Gottkampf with great-grandchildren Ellinor and Wilma.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday March 28, 2025, at First United Methodist Church Bentonville with a reception to follow. A private burial will be at Bentonville Cemetery under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Rogers.
