Nadine Miller Yates' Obituary
Nadine Miller Yates, 69 of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born August 7, 1945 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Edward Hale Howard and Talitha Elizabeth (Smith) Howard. She was a Senior Vice President and Executive Broker for Lindsey & Associates, having worked there for over twenty years. A licensed Realtor since 1972, Nadine has received numerous awards and designations for her work in the real estate community and had served on various real estate committees at the local, state, and national levels. She was a member of University Baptist Church in Fayetteville and was very active in the local theatre not only gracing the stage, but also serving on the board of directors of the Arts Center of The Ozarks.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Johnny Gough, Jr. She is survived by one sister, Valerie Cox of Pensacola, FL; two daughters, Alisha Marshall and husband Roger of Fayetteville and Leslie Miller of Fayetteville; two sons, Scott Miller and wife Krista of Fayetteville and Chase Miller and wife Mandy of Fayetteville; one stepson, Jason Reed of Washington, D.C.; and a niece, Amanda Cox-Young of Pensacola, FL. Nadine was also blessed with eleven grandchildren: Jordan, Sydnee, Emilee, Kaycee, and Parker Marshall; Macie and Shelby Miller; Jackson and Rylin Miller; Evann Velasquez Miller; and Spencer Kemp.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2nd from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 3rd at University Baptist Church in Fayetteville with The Reverend Doctor H.D. McCarty and Reverend Jonathan Beasley officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, AR.
