Nancy J. McNair's Obituary
Nancy J. McNair, age 79, of Maumelle, Arkansas passed away Friday March 27, 2026 in North Little Rock. She was born May 20, 1946 in Fayetteville to John and Dallas (Drevs) McNair. She loved her friends and family fiercely, and Fayetteville the town she grew up in. She graduated from Fayetteville High School, was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority and received her Master’s Degree from the University of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her niece, Bronwynn McNair and nephew, Daniel McNair.
She is survived by her spouse Diane Doherty of Maumelle; brother, John A. McNair and his wife Debbie of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Travis Cumming, Diana Estrada and Sophia Oden, nieces, Kendra McNair, Tess McNair Senecal, Angela DeWitt DeLille; nephews, Ryan McNair, Tate McNair; great nieces, Blaykeli McNair, Amelia McNair; great nephews, Brayson McNair, Jackson DeLille and many cousins.
There will be an interment service 11:00 am Friday April 24, 2026 at Evergreen Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Friday the same day at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
