Naomi Brooke Braswell's Obituary
Naomi Brooke Braswell, of Elkins, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 2 and a half years old. She was born on June 9, 2022, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Naomi was such a joy to watch grow and overcome so much. Born into a world that didn’t deserve her. She fought harder than anyone. From her 12-ounce, teeny tiny body, that doctors said would never survive, to her happy, smiling, joyous 2 year old beautiful soul. The doctors said that she wouldn’t survive, but she did. They said she would never sit up on her own, but she did. They said she would never crawl, but she did. They said she would never walk, but she DID! She was so, so loved by everyone that had the honor of knowing her.
Naomi leaves behind her siblings Hunter, Maverick, & Shawna Braswell; grandparents David & Lori Silva, and Joe Rochier; Great grandmother Anne Marie Pruett; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones whose lives will be darker without her light shining in it.
A Visitation will take place on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Round Mountain Community Church from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, with Funeral Service starting at 2:00 PM.
