Natalie Maria Thomas, 71, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021. She was born March 17, 1949, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to William Francis Thomas, Jr. and Rita Mark Thomas. Natalie graduated from Edison High School in Read Obituary
Natalie was a bright light for our family. Near the end of her cousin (our dad) Don's life, she would often call him and provide great comfort. We loved talking to her on the phone. While we found her Arkansas accent charming to listen to, she would giggle at the way we pronounced a few words. She provided me (Michael) with the most memorable and warm visit a relative could hope for. Her kindness, intelligence, and spiritual wealth made a mark on our family, and we will always keep her in our hearts. Natalie has been in my Bible Study group these past two years. She always shared insightful comments during our discussions. We will miss her sweet spirit so much. Prayers of peace and comfort to her family.

I met Natalie through a Bible Study group maybe 10 years ago. Such a sweet spirit. She loved the Lord, and her family very much. Natalie hosted many of our group’s functions in her lovely home; from Baby Showers to Christmas Parties. She would sit at her piano and play Carols as we all sang along. So sad to lose this sweet friend. But I’m encouraged to know I will see her again one day. Miss you Natalie. You were one of the good ones. 😘🙏🏻
I knew Natalie from New Heights Church Sunday services. We usually sat in the same area of the room so got to talking and became acquainted. What a precious and gentle soul she was. I especially remember her lovely smile. My husband had a hip surgery before Natalie, and they often visited about that until the time she had hers. I admired her faith, her resilience, her intelligence, and always felt there was ton of spunk inside that gentle person! Our condolences to the family. Michael and Anita Blanton
