Nellie Avada Bivens' Obituary
Nellie Avada Bivens, 90 of Springdale, AR passed away Friday, September 21, 2007 at The Maples in Springdale, AR. She was born May 8, 1917 in Brentwood, AR to Mike and Flora (Brown) Hooten.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Lee Bivens, her parents, and her siblings; sisters, Elsie, May, Sophie, and Lucy and her brothers; Ed, Leo, Orlie, George, and Lisle.
She is survived by two children; Patricia Kay (Bivens) Franke of Fayetteville, AR, Rita Fay (Bivens) Huff of Shell Knob, MO, three grandchildren, Jennifer Susan (Franke) Westphal of Bella Vista, Corey Huff of Rogers, AR, Christina (Huff) Henson of Fayetteville, AR, and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, September 24, 2007 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, AR with Pastor Don George officiating. Burial will follow at Fayetteville National Cemetery
