Nellie Florence Sims McBryde's Obituary
Mrs. Nellie Florence Sims McBryde, 73 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007 in Fayetteville. She was born July 7, 1933 in Alfriend, AR to John Wade and Roxie Eileen Allred Sims. She was a dedicated wife, mother and a member of First Baptist Church in Springdale, AR.
She was preceded in death by her brother Sidney Sims.
She is survived by her husband Vernon McBryde, a son, Bryan McBryde and his wife Barbara of Springdale, AR, one daughter, Pamella McBryde English and her husband Greg of Coppell, TX; five grandchildren, Brandon McBryde, Benjamin McBryde and Brett McBryde all of Springdale, AR, Anna English and Brooke English of Coppell, TX; three brothers; James Sims of Dunsmire, CA, Ulyses "Gary" Sims of Alsea, OR, and Lenis Sims of Harrison, AR, five sisters; Drucilla Drew of Mesa, AZ, Lila Ollis of Cranberry, NC, Viva Jacobs of Tempe, AZ, Laverne Truesdale of Harrison, AR, Junie Cantrell of Everton, MO, two of the other special people in her life, sister-in-law Angie Perryman of Alexander, AR and her caregiver, Ann Guptill of Fayetteville.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 2, 2007 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverend Thomas Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Memorials may be made to either Alzheimer's Association or College of the Ozarks in Branson, Missouri.
