I salute Neppie Conner as one of the most compassionate human beings I have ever met in my 63 years, whichs brilliantly demonstrated by her work in her later years. Professor of Fine Arts par excellence, eternal and faithful friend and strong painter I feel so very privileged to have experienced her great good spirit.

I have many fond memories of Neppie. I looked forward to her class (color studies) everyday. She was so pleasant and patient and, of course, so knowledgeable. She was always so positive and I learned a great deal from her. I'm glad she touched so many lives and I'm grateful to have known her.
Prior to moving from Fayetteville to Springfield in 1999, I was Neppie's neighbor for 7 years. She was a fantastic lady.
She used to walk my Dachsunds and I enjoyed going to her house at 4:30 in the afternoons to share a Martini with her. Her artwork was amazing and her conversation was all that much better.
She was truly one of the neatest people I have ever met. Somebody PLEASE let me know when a memorial service is set. I would not miss it.
She and her family have been friends for many years, She was a wonderful lady

her art. Both will live on in our hearts.
Neppie was the first volunteer I met when I took the job at Faith in Action. She was so willing to help regardless of the task. She logged a countless number of hours within the organization helping others. I enjoyed many visits with her and learned something new each time! I and others at Faith in Action have always been in admiration of her. She was so easy to love and had a great sense of humor. Her compassion and strength were inspiring.
Neppie, I will miss you very much! Thank you for your contribution to Northwest Arkansas and the difference you made in so many lives. You will always be to me what Faith in Action is all about. You have definitely made the world a better place. With much love, Healey
