Nita Eureta Vinson's Obituary
Nita Eureta (Roberts) Vinson 88, of Prairie Grove, AR passed away Friday January 22, 2021 in her daughter Terri’s home surrounded by family. She was born September 29, 1932 in Cleveland, Arkansas to Archie and Ila (Brents) Roberts.
She retired from Foster Farms in CA and later worked for Youth with a Mission in Elm Springs AR. In her later years she traveled with her husband across the country for a trucking company.
She was an active member of Assembly of God in Covina, CA where she taught Missionettes for 10 years. When she moved back to AR she was an active member of CLC. There she wrote the program for the Rainbows curriculum and taught as well.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lester Gene Vinson whom she married on June 9, 1950 in Duarte, CA, daughter Rita Lawson and grandson Marc Anthony Jr.
She is survived by her daughters Pamela Hoyt & husband Bob of Yucca Valley CA, Terri Pirolo & husband Marc of Prairie Grove AR & son in law Ron Lawson of Tontitown, brother Lynn Roberts of Fayetteville, eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren & three great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Life Source of Fayetteville AR.
A private family service will be held in the Cathedral Chapel of Christian Life Cathedral in Fayetteville with Pastor Steve Dixon and Pastor C.L. “Red” Dixon officiating.
