Nona Lavern Taylor's Obituary
Nona Lavern Taylor, 60, of Springdale, went to be with our Heavenly Father on May 23, 2012 and she is now singing with the angels and rejoicing with her special Grandma Mae.
Nona was born March 13, 1952 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of Beverly Taylor and the late John L. Taylor of Little Rock.
Along with her father, she is preceded in death by a brother, John T. Taylor; grandmothers, Mildred Harp and Mable Johnson; great-grandmother, Florance “Cat” Ferrell and Bessie Young and Uncles Raymond Johnson and Jimmy Johnson.
She is survived by her mother, Beverly Taylor and a brother, Steve Taylor both of Little Rock; aunt and uncles, Frank and Mary Grant of Springdale; Joan and Bob Hall and Twila Johnson all of Fayetteville and Bob Johnson of Ft. Smith; cousins and their spouses, Dan and Kathy Jordan of Benton, AR, Frank E. Grant of Springdale, Terri and Robbie Ceola and Pam and Rick Jones Cherri and Tom Coker and Gary Hall all of Fayetteville, Tammy and Roger Ruhmann of Catoosa, OK, Linda and Matt McClain of McAlester, OK, Cara and Scott Hewitt, Robin and Jeff Kremers and Erica Johnson all of Ft. Smith, Cindy DeLozier of Glenpool, OK and Debbie and Bill Wages of Bixby, OK and a dear friend, Phyllis Shackelford of Fayetteville and Phyllis’ grandchildren, Owen and Abby Noe.
Funeral service will be held a 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 26 at Moore’s Chapel and burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
