Norbert L. Koch's Obituary
Norbert L. Koch, 69 of Springdale died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in Springdale. He was born March 4, 1943 in Hermann, Missouri the son of Harvey Koch and Selma Hagel Koch.
He was a member of the Jaycees in Hermann, MO and the American Legion. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He worked as a metal fabricator for many years. He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Moon and a brother, Neil Koch. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Virginia “Jenny” Koch of the home; daughter, Susan Gyaben of Fort Wainwright, Alaska; sons, Randy Moon of Springdale, Martin Moon of Tulsa, OK; sister, Darlene Faerber of New Florence, MO; sister-in-law, Alverna Koch of Hermann, MO and 7 grandchildren. The family will receive friends and family from 5 to 7PM on Friday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Funeral service will be 10:00AM, Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. The family requests that memorials take the form of donations in his name to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
