Norma Eileen Behrens' Obituary
Norma Eileen Behrens, age 93, of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2025. She was born on September 20, 1931, in Waterloo, Iowa, to James Dewey and Beulah Dorcas Cutshall Anderson. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Charles, her daughter Diana Eickelberg, her son-in-law James Neisen, two brothers and a sister.
She worked as a dedicated dental assistant and was known for her warm and caring nature. Outside of work, Norma loved to knit and was an avid sports enthusiast, with a particular passion for baseball. A proud and devoted fan, she cheered tirelessly for her beloved Chicago Cubs.
Norma is survived by her four children: Debra Neisen of Bentonville, Arkansas; Rebecca Thompson and her husband Walt of Carthage, Missouri; Todd Prange and his wife Denise of Mansfield, Missouri; and Tammie Strachan and her husband Brian of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Dean Eickelberg, along with 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 13 great, great grandchildren
totaling 63 grandchildren, numerous extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas, followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. A private family
committal service will take place at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
Norma’s family and friends will remember her for her kind heart, her love of family, and her enduring dedication to the things she loved most in life.
