Oda Ree Sanders' Obituary
Oda Ree Sanders, age 89, passed away at her home, in West Fork, Arkansas on Monday May 8, 2023. She was born, one of ten children, on April 4, 1934, in Mulberry, Arkansas, to Oma Ree and Cyrvus “Doc” Charleston Campbell.
She moved to Bakersfield, California but would relocate back to Arkansas and settled in West Fork in 1972. She married Denzel Warren Sanders, and they had forty-six wonderful years of marriage, a son, and four daughters.
Oda is preceded in death by her husband, Denzel Warren Sanders, two daughters: Nita Denice and Deborah Jean, six sisters: Jean Martinez, Elsie Billington, Jessie Martinez, Velma Sanders, Darlene Davis, and Naomi Tinnin.
She was a member long time and the eldest member of the First United Pentecostal Church, Fayetteville.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Warren Sanders, and wife Oksana of Rockport, Texas, two daughters: Theresa Malone and husband Mike of Bentonville, and Cindy Tabor and husband Greg of West Fork, two sisters: Vivian Hanson of West Fork, and Pauline Gray of Springdale. Her brother, Calvin Campbell, and wife Lois, of West Fork, seven grandchildren: Jaimey Malone and wife Sierra, Michelle Malone, Allison Tabor Vazquez and husband Casey, Andrew Tabor, Sara Scott and husband Matt, Michelle Chapman, and husband Tom and Michael Mounce, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family kindly asks that you consider a memorial donation to First United Pentecostal Church, 3701 W Wedington Drive, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72704, in honor of Oda Ree Sanders.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Graveside Service will be Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 3:00 pm at West Fork Cemetery, West Fork, Arkansas.
