Ogden Berry's Obituary
Ogden Berry, 83 of Fayetteville, Arkansas and formerly of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away peacefully holding hands with the love of his life on December 18, 2025. He was born on April 14, 1942 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Hoyt Berry and Robert Millicent (Pontius) Berry.
Ogden will be remembered for his honesty, loyalty, and integrity. These qualities led him to become the Executive Director for the Workers Comp Division for the State of Arkansas. He established the first CIGNA Insurance office in Arkansas. While managing this office, he received numerous awards for outstanding service.
While Ogden had many accomplishments in him career, the greatest accomplishment was his family. He met the love of his life, Charlotte, on a blind date in 1981 and a beautiful 45 year love story began. His story is one to be admired. He led his family with faith, love, and strength. His legacy will live on in his two children and his five grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Charlotte Cummings Berry, son Steven Janski and wife Meredith of Fayetteville, Arkansas, one daughter Stephanie Berry of Fayetteville, Arkansas, one brother, Orson Berry of Little Rock, Arkansas, and five grandchildren, Luke, Noah, Jacob, Grace, and Charlotte.
A service will be held on Monday, December 22nd at 11 am in the pavilion of 16th Section Cemetery in Austin, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army.
