Ola Mae Richardson's Obituary
Ola Mae Richardson, age 88, of the Whitehouse Community passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday November 10, 2022. She was born November 12, 1933 in Grove Springs, Missouri to Oneas and Viola Williams Swadley. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl Richardson; her son, Danny Wayne Richardson; daughter in law, Cheryl Richardson; nine brothers, Kenneth Swadley, Wilmer Swadley, R.B. Swadley, Jessie Swadley, David Swadley, Thomas Swadley, Lewis Swadley, Mark Swadley and Milford Swadley.
She is survived by her daughter, Karla Mae Richardson Hill of the Whitehouse Community; son, Tim Richardson of the Whitehouse Community; one sister, Sue Brisco of Missouri; four brothers, Gene Swadley, Joe Swadley, Steve Swadley and Robert Swadley all of Missouri; three grandchildren, Kayla Michael and husband Shawn Michael, Jeremy Richardson and wife Sandy Richardson, Josh Hill and wife Kindle, all of the Whitehouse Community; twelve great grandchildren, Kendra (Dessa) Yates, Delaney (Austin) Coleman, Kyra Hill, Cassie Hill, Alex (Gracie) Bowman, Kendal Michael, Abbie Michael, Blake Michael, Lillie Michael, Aubrey Hardwick, Savannah Hardwick and Cullen Hardwick; four great great grandchildren, Rylee Jarnagan, River Coleman and Blaike Coleman and Hallie Coleman.
Over the years she worked jobs at Baldwin Piano and Pizza Junction. She also helped tend the family farm and enjoyed being a housewife, mother and granny. She loved gardening, planting lots of flowers and watching the birds in her yard.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday November 14, 2022 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Whitehouse Community Building with burial to follow in Whitehouse Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
