Olen Goodale's Obituary
Olen Goodale, age 84, of Fayetteville died Tuesday May 7, 2013. He was born July 10, 1928 in Fraley, Missouri to Willard Frank and Mary Ethel Haley Goodale. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Varena Trosper and Doris Chappell and a brother, J. C. Goodale.
He was the retired manager of a rural water district and served as public administrator for Pemiscot County in Missouri. He formerly served as deacon and elder at Central Church of Christ in Caruthersville, Missouri.
He was a member of Johnson Church of Christ in Johnson, Arkansas. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Goodale, one daughter, Linda Bolin of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one son, Howard Goodale and his wife Patricia of Marrero, Louisiana; brother, W.F. “Dub” Goodale of Lillian, Alabama; four grandchildren, Emily Holloway and her husband Chris, Michael Bolin and his wife Samantha, Stephen Goodale and William Goodale; two great grandchildren, Dakota Holloway and Emma Grace Holloway.
Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday at Johnson Church of Christ. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
