Olive Carolyn "Connie" Parker's Obituary
Olive Carolyn "Connie" Parker, 94, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2026.
Connie was born on August 8, 1931, in El Dorado, Kansas, to Ross and Zella Godfrey. She spent most of her life in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she devoted herself to her family while serving as the business manager of the family's veterinary clinic. In 2013, she moved to Rogers, Arkansas, to be closer to her family.
Connie lived a life defined by kindness, compassion, and service to others. She generously volunteered with New Mexico Special Olympics and several organizations dedicated to assisting others especially her family and neighbors. She was actively involved at Hoffmantown Baptist Church and Sombré Del Monte Christian Church in Albuquerque. She later attended Fellowship Bible Church after moving to Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Parker; her son, Brad Parker; her sister, Patricia Beal; and her daughter-in-law, Betsy Parker.
She is lovingly survived by her son, Steve Parker; her daughter, Lisa Schatzman and husband, Mark; her son, Brett Parker, her daughter-in-law Marsha Parker; ten cherished grandchildren: Kayla, Ryan, Reid, Kristen, Parker, Aaron, Jordan, Nikki, Kelsey, and Jamie; and fourteen treasured great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever remember her love, generosity, and gentle spirit.
A memorial service celebrating Connie's life will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026, in the Prayer Garden at Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers, with Mark Schatzman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fellowship Bible Church, Rogers, or Open Avenues, Rogers, in honor of Connie's lifelong commitment to serving others.
Connie's legacy of selfless service, and unconditional love will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
