Olivia Garcia's Obituary
Olivia Garcia, born June 5, 1973, in Zacatecas, Mexico, was sent to her eternal home on April 11, 2025. She was the beloved daughter to the late Jose Garcia and Tomasa Garcia, and the loving wife of Samuel Martinez.
Olivia, as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion and unwavering faith in God. She was a cheerful person who loved to laugh, sing and dance. Most of all, she loved to give. Always pouring too much love wherever she could. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had.
Olivia had a beautiful relationship with God and was a member of Cross Church- Rogers. She was also a professional hairdresser. Cutting, dying and styling hair was her passion. By giving words of wisdom she was able to help everyone bring out the beauty they had within themselves, while also showing them their beautiful reflection in the mirror.
Olivia was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Adela and Martha; and her nephew Alberto “Beto” Longoria.
Olivia is survived by her loving husband, Samuel Martinez; two daughters, Lidia Rangel (Pablo) and Ruby Andrade (Salvador); four sisters, Brenda, Sandra, Esmeralda, and Rosalia; two brothers, Alfredo and Armando. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as many wonderful friends who shared in her joyful spirit.
The Celebration of Life service to honor the life of Olivia Garcia will be held on April 17, 2025 at Cross Church in Rogers, AR. Visitation will be held at 4:30pm with service to follow at 5:30pm.
Although Olivia’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.
