Ora Baker's Obituary
Ora Baker, age 93, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, March 23, 2014 in Fayetteville. She was born April 28, 1920 in St. Paul, Arkansas, the daughter of William David and Eva Elizabeth Gabbard Elam. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Baker; a son, Paul Kenneth Baker and a brother, Lloyd Elam.
She was retired from J. C. Penney and was a member of Center Street Church of Christ in Fayetteville.
She is survived by two sisters, Helen Winkle and Macel Edwards, both of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Christie Smith and her husband Tracy of Gentry, Paul David Baker of Ft. Smith and Josh Baker and his wife Alanna of Alma, Arkansas; four great-grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Olivia Smith, Sawyer Smith and Maddison Baker.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at Center Street Church of Christ with burial to follow at Baptist Ford Cemetery, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
