Orville L Wright's Obituary
Orville L. Wright, 74, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022. He was born on October 16, 1948, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to Jackson C. Wright and Leveta Mae Wright. He was preceded in death by his parents. Orville is survived by his wife of 37 years, Laura; his brother Orlando Wright and wife Deanna of Bartow, Florida, and a niece.
Orville proudly served in the U.s Navy, was a retired member of the Whitehouse Volunteer Fire Department and retired from the V.A. Medical Center in Fayetteville. His passion was paddling the rivers of Arkansas, especially the Mulberry, and the rivers of the eastern and western states, his favorites being the Colorado and Green. He was a long-time member of the Arkansas Canoe Club and most enjoyed spending his time with his friends and paddling buddies.
