P Martin Forster's Obituary
P. Martin Forster, 81, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Friday, June 15, 2007 in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born November 15, 1925 in Berkley, California, the son of Percy Martin Forster, Sr., and Carol (Kelly) Forster. During WWII, he was a pilot in the Army Air Corps. Later, Martin was a Mechanical Construction Manager, business owner, an avid fisherman and a member of the Central United Methodist Church of Fayetteville. Also as an accomplished artist, he taught art in Fayetteville and Rogers, was a past president of the Northwest Arkansas Artist Association and a finalist in the prestigious ?Arts for the Parks? national competition in 2000.He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-nine years Ann M. Forster on May 13, 2007.He is survived by three children; Larry M. Forster of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; Carol A. Looney of Springdale, Arkansas; Jeffrey M. Forster of Fayetteville, Arkansas; six grandchildren; and his sister, Mabel T. Forster of Fayetteville.A memorial service will be held 2:00PM, Monday, June 18, 2007 at the Fellowship Bible Church in Springdale, Arkansas, with Reverend John Glasser officiating.
