Pamela "Pam" Darlene Kolb's Obituary
Pamela “Pam” Darlene Kolb, age 56, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, died on November 8, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 13, 1966, in Marion, Indiana, to the late Louis Townsel and the late Frances (Bird) Townsel. Pam graduated from Dollarway High School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She married her high school sweetheart, Paul Kolb on December 28, 1984, in Pine Bluff. Pam attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello before graduating from Draughon School of Business in Little Rock. Pam worked 16 years in the Special Education Department for the Lake Hamilton School District, before moving to Northwest Arkansas and serving as a substitute teacher at Walker Elementary in Springdale. She was Troop Scout Master for the White Hall Boy Scouts and helped with the White Hall Little League and White Hall Football. Pam was a loyal and dedicated member of the Order of the Eastern Star and to the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, Order of DeMolay and the Grand Court of the Amaranth, serving as Worthy Matron at Hot Springs National Park #635 and Worthy Matron at Bentonville #295, having served as Grand Martha in 2013 and was serving as Deputy Grand Lecturer and secretary of the Bentonville Lodge. Pam was actively helping with Fayetteville Youth Baseball.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Townsel and Frances Spurlock; and stepfather, Alton Spurlock.
Pam is survived by her husband of almost 38 years, Paul; son, Paul Louis Kolb (Ashley) of Fayetteville; Autumn Kolb (Ben) of Fayetteville; and her pride and joy, the apple of her eye, her grandson, William Thomas Kolb of Fayetteville; and sister, Laura Townsel King and husband Paul of Pine Bluff.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Baptist Ford Cemetery, 736 County Road 1194, Fayetteville, AR 72701, with Brother Jonathan White officiating and the Order of the Eastern Star and Grand Court of Amaranth participating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2022, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, 4520 N. Crossover Road, Fayetteville, AR 72703. Arrangements are by Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
